Why Does a Good Realtor (R) Make a Difference?

August 4, 2008 · Julie Cleland

One real estate agent is as good as the next…right?  As a hard working, professional, full time Realtor ® my answer would have to be WRONG!  A good agent offers an invaluable service by providing a client with a feeling of security in one of the biggest financial transactions they will ever make.  Security emotionally, financially and legally.

What does this mean?  It means a good agent respects that they are taking on “a fiduciary duty of utmost care, integrity, honesty and loyalty” (per Disclosure regarding Real Estate Agency Relationship) in dealings with you.  A qualified Realtor will get to know you, your situation, and your goals then use that information to tailor an approach to buying or selling specific to you.  By being your primary advocate and the point person in you transaction you can rest easy knowing you have someone on your side.  A good Realtor may not have all the answers, but they will know where to find them.  Your financial security comes from having a realtor that works with a team that takes into consideration your entire economic circumstance and will guide you into finance that carry no surprises and fits within your objectives.  Legally you are better protected because a good Realtor will address all the legal aspects that pertain to any transaction such as disclosures, title and all the unforeseen issues that arise, and believe me they will!

So when it comes time to choose your team for your next real estate transaction, remember…A Good Realtor Does Make a Difference!
