I'm a bit confused and very intrigued at the same time. Not sure what could possibly happen.
It would be nice to sit in a room and just have a discussion and hear everyones take on this subject. I'm all for helping the economy even if it hurts my pocket book a bit. Strange to see Bush address the issue. I felt a little insecure watching it. I guess we will just have to wait to see what this means for us all.
Thanks

I have not reached a firm opinion either. Could I comment in 2 years?
All kidding aside I recently blogged this subject on active rain but that was before the latest bail out. http://activerain.com/blogs/leesells

Very good questions and I'm anxious to hear your thoughts (and that of others) on this situation. There's so much to read and listen to, that it's quite overwhelming and I haven't quite reached a conclusion on it yet. IMHO, I don't like the idea of bailouts in general in that I'm afraid it may encourage people to have dulled sense of consequence and responsibility. On the other hand, there are too many people out there who are suffering the consequences of decisions made by others. In addition, perhaps the bailout is what we need for people to feel confident that the government is being proactive to protect the economy from completely falling apart. Again, I haven't reached a firm opinion on all of this just yet and look forward to hearing what you have to say on this subject.
