Did you watch the debate Thursday night?

I was surprised by the debate, felt it was far better then the first one, wish they both had answered the questions. Seemed to me that they were asked a question and then answered with a speech. Palin did this more often. just wish they would tell the truth and quit living in the past. What did you Think?

    I was impressed with Palin, she stood her ground with confidence and poise. Biden on the other hand put most of his time and energy comparing Mc Cain to the Bush administration and not directly answering the questions.

    Wishful thinking Michael… political debates don’t focus on what they should rather point fingers and play the blame game. It much easier to do that, then actually discuss serious issues at hand.

    Of course if your Liberal Biden wins
    if your Conservative then Palin wins
    But both did pretty good. Palin really caught the eye of the american people. She has kept Mc Cain’s campain alive. Either way she has a career. Biden had great poise and seemed a bit more prepared for the debate. Both did a little dancing around some questions but all in all very interesting.

    I watched the debate with my teenage girls. My older one kept yelling, “Answer the question!” to both candidates but especially Palin. My younger one shared with me the next day that her classmates (8th graders) were not very impressed with Palin, although that might be more a reflection of their parents’ views rather than their own. I won’t go into how I feel about the candidates…
