My Happy First Time Home Buyers

March 22, 2009 · Shokoofeh Nowbakht

I went to visit my clients who just bought their first home 2 weeks ago. They had bought new dining set, living room set, and a flat screen TV over the fireplace. They were very happy and their little toddler boy had the greatest time running around the house, climbing over the couch and the dining table. He hugged me so many times and blew kisses at me. I enjoyed watching them. We were so used to meeting several times every week especially since the loan was getting approved and funded, that it was hard to say goodbye.

I’m going to miss not seeing them as often.happy-home

I am glad that this young family was able to buy a house in South San Francisco at a great price and an interest rate of below 5%. This house was valued at about $170,000 higher 2.5 years ago. This is a great opportunity for many to purchase properties at today’s market values and interest rates.

Great story, an opportunity to reflect and realize that the American Dream of home ownership is alive and well. The best part is you do not have to say goodbye, the relationship can last a lifetime, The bond between a family purchasing a home and the Realtor can be a special one
    Congratulations to all involved

Once of the greatest rewards in this profession is seeing a young buyer(s) in their first home; you know you have just helped secure their future!

    Great story.

That is one of the “perks” of our business. We get to make close relationships with our customers, and we become the first person they contact for advice.

You may very well count that little toddler as one of your future customers one day.

Personally, I have had several second generation customers who were little people when I first dealt with their parents!

That is so sweet Shokoofeh…after spending much time with our clients it is bitter sweet at the end. We are so happy that they are in a home they love yet sad because we miss the constant communication. The good thing is we can always check in just to say Hello.
