Man! That is quite a story! One thing after another is common these days, isn't it? Jeez! I praise you and your buyer for hanging in there!

That is truly cooperation at its finest! Everything works so much eaiser when all parties want the transaction to work for everyone and keep the lines of communication open.
Great job!

Thanks for the great comments. To respond to Lee, yes, the selling bank has agreed to pay for the termite clearance. In fact the city inspector will inspect and hopefully sign off on the work tomorrow.

What you describe in exactly what is needed to make a sale a good experience for everyone involved. Our transactions these days are never easy, but the ultimate goal is that everyone involved walks away feeling that they have been treated fairly and ethically.

Wow, you and your team have done a great job. I am curious did the selling bank pay for the roof and termite, added on to the loan or the buyer won the lottery also besides having a great agent?

Wow, great story Shookefeh!

Wishing you continued good luck with the transaction and it sounds like the whole team is acting professionally, and with the goal of having escrow close as soon as possible.

You have a realistic buyer, great loan agent, the pest control company and others, a listing agent who understands and can communicate the issues to the non-emotional bank, and of course, you!
