Home Buying is a Team Work
Just wanted to share an experience. One of my clients is getting a VA loan to purchase a house. Even though it has been taking longer than we had originally anticipated, it has genuinely been a teamwork all the way through. Buying a house requires all players to work together so that everyone wins at the end. The game started with my client choosing a great mortgage officer and getting preapproved. We then found a house he liked and made a good offer. My client offered the asking price. Did I mention Read more
Sellers looking at Contract Terms
Buyers and their agents need to be very careful about not only the offer price, but also the terms of the contract. Sellers do not always just accept the highest offer, as one might think. They want to SELL the property and the only way that would happen is Read more
Open House TOOOOO Crowded ???
Last week I had a really busy open house. I don’t know if this is particularly good. I don’t know if I were able to answer everyone’s questions and concerns. A day without internet!
What would you do a whole day without internet? Scary! But, in fact, I got a lot done without internet yesterday. I went back to simple paper & pen and client list and called & contacted them. I admit, It wasn’t easy not to be able to check emails, or not even tweet
. It’s amazing how much our lives depend on technology. How would you run your business one day without electricity? Can you imagine a day without multiple listing service?

Remodel or Remodeled?
Would you buy cheaper and remodel or buy remodeled? Does it make sense for the first time home buyers to try to save money by buying a property that needs some TLC and remodel it themselves? How much TLC is reasonable? Just some thoughts and concerns! Do you have to be a good handyman to buy a fixer upper? Why do we realtors use “Contractors’ Special” comment on MLS? Should a non-contractor buy a fixer upper? Ok, what are your thoughts?
